The Ceiling is out!

The record became available this past Friday online and we celebrated with a 30 minute, live show at the Cove in Mooresville, NC. Good times and a great turnout! We expect the CDs to come in tomorrow and we will have them available on this site, as well as other places you might frequent.
Make sure to review and rate the album on iTunes and Amazon. That makes it show up in the genius recommendations area for other music fans!

Hard to believe that this is the week! Can’t wait for you to hear it! Digital downloads will be available on Friday on iTunes, Amazon…you name it! Physical copies will be on sale this week. We’ll keep you posted as to where to find them. Spread the word!

The Ceiling…the song

This is the first song I wrote for the record. I think we all have these “Is anyone really listening?” times in our lives.
Oh, and have you met my lead guitarist Nate Zaso? Consider yourself introduced!!! I cry a little as a guitarist when I watch him play this solo.

Lucky Ones

Happy St. Patty’s day to you! Don’t forget to wear green. Don’t foget that pinching someone on the back of the arm really hurts! But most importantly, don’t forget to check out this week’s new song “Lucky Ones”!
This happens to be the first song that I’ve written for my wife that she really likes (I’ve busted her listening to it a few times). I hope you really like it as well!
Mastering was finished up this week! We’ll have the record in your hands around the 3rd week of April!
Evolution of a song

So, I wrote all of the songs on “The Ceiling” in about 2 months (a self imposed goal)…All except 2 of them. The verse-melody from “Secrets” is something that I had been kicking around for a couple of years. Then, out of the blue in early October, the lyrics and chorus hit me. I demo songs immediately on garageband after I write them. Here is what my demo sounded like:
This is one take, with one mic and a whole lotta reverb!!!
